VOLCM-4 Stereo Volume Control
The VOLCM-4 is an active 2-channel (stereo) volume control module. It uses a 10K linear potentiometer to provide an approximately logarithmic gain curve. Different variants provide different maximum gain values (from +3dB up to +16.8dB). It uses a two NE5532 devices.
The module is powered with a bipolar supply (+/-12 to 16V) using a power supply such as the PSU-12. It measures 46mm x 30mm. The output has a series resistor which enables it to be used in a bussed system for summing multiple stereo sources (used in the 12-channel stereo summing mixer project).
